What it's like to use a Virtual Assistant

"Hiring a virtual assistant has been a great step forward for my business.  As a sole practitioner working from home, there just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done, and earlier this year I realised that spending time on tasks that could easily be outsourced was holding me back from achieving some of the bigger visions I have for my clinic. I had considered hiring a casual staff member, however this really wasn’t going to suit my small set-up, and I didn’t want the costs or the headache of training and maintaining a staff member.  Someone mentioned the possibility of a virtual assistant, so I looked around at what was available, and put a request out in several Facebook networking groups.  I had quite a few people who offered me their services, but it was great to find Belinda. 

As a fellow practitioner, I know that she understands many of the concepts that I would otherwise have had to spend time explaining or demonstrating to an assistant who doesn’t have practitioner training, and it is also great to know that I can count on her for quality content creation if needed.  Communicating via email and Dropbox has been wonderfully convenient, and I love the fact that I can use Belinda’s services as I have need of them.  I’m still getting the hang of using a virtual assistant (I’m not someone that delegates very easily!) but I am confident it has been the right choice for my clinic, and it has certainly made planning for future growth a lot easier!"
